Speaker guidelines
Presentation Location
The 2nd International Conference of Innovative Aquaculture (ICIA2025) will be held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai, Thailand, on November 27–28, 2025. The conference will begin promptly at 08:30 AM with an opening ceremony, followed by keynote presentations, speaker sessions, special sessions, and poster presentations. All participants are requested to arrive at the venue well in advance to ensure timely registration and participation.
1. Guidelines for Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. One of the authors must present. Speakers can use either their own laptops or the PC provided (Windows with PowerPoint). Please bring your presentation on a USB drive. A volunteer will assist in launching your presentation.
2. Guidelines for Poster Presentations
Posters should not exceed 80 cm wide by 120 cm high. Presenters must bring their printed posters and mount them prior to the Opening Ceremony. Posters must be removed after the designated session. At least one author must be present during the session to discuss the poster.
3. Guidelines for Virtual Presentations
Virtual presenters must submit an abstract and full paper for peer review. Once accepted, a test run will be scheduled.
Virtual presenters will receive conference proceedings and a certificate of presentation after the event.
Technical Requirements for Virtual Presentations:
- A desktop or laptop with webcam, microphone, and headphones
- Updated Chrome browser (disable antivirus if needed)
- A quiet, professional, well-lit space
Video Conferencing Details:
- Submit your slides in PowerPoint format
- Download the Zoom app and create an account
- You will receive a meeting link, Meeting ID, and Password
- Ensure your internet and audio/video settings are ready
- Virtual presentation time limit: 20 minutes
4. Certification
Participants will receive certificates from the session chair or co-chair after their presentation or during the conference closing ceremony. Virtual presenters will receive a digital certificate by email.
